/nobackup

From ACCRE Wiki

Much like the /data directory, the /nobackup directory is part of the PanFS filesystem, making it suitable for storing high-frequency transactional data. It's important to note that we do not back up any data in this directory, and accidental losses cannot be recovered. Treat this directory as a short-term storage solution. Each user is provided with a personal nobackup directory accessible via either /nobackup/user/<vunet_id> or /nobackup/userspace/<vunet_id>, both of which are symlinked to the same location.
